Vise QM16125
QM16125 is a precision machine-made rigid-fixing rotary vice of the QM series with a width of jaw pads of 125 mm and a maximum opening (with standard position of the pads) of 145 mm, which are used for precise and reliable clamping of parts during processing on milling, drilling, grinding and other machines. Structurally, the tool consists of a pair of parallel jaws, one of which is stationary, and the second is pressed to the part using a trapezoidal screw. The smooth running of the latter is ensured by a needle bearing. This solution allows you to obtain maximum clamping force without much difficulty in turning the handle. The backlash of the movable jaw is adjusted using an adjusting screw located on the back of its body. The pads (plates) on the jaws are removable, which reduces the cost of servicing the product as a whole, and also increases operating efficiency.
This model is equipped with a rotating mechanism, which is complemented by a degree scale. This allows the part to be rotated 360° in a horizontal plane relative to the base. If necessary, the vice can be used without a rotating base.

Working principle of QM series vice:
When horizontal working pressure (clamp) occurs on the vice, a special element located in the middle of the movable jaw increases the clamping force of the workpiece against the body. This allows the vice to avoid extruding the part while maintaining the shape of its surface.
